Bill respecting the laicity of the State

The government of the CAQ finally adopted the bill respecting the laicity of the State. This law provoked intense and emotional debates that went beyond the traditional “left-right” fracture lines.  Even within the Conservative Party of Québec, opinions diverge, and discussions have been lively. I propose to discuss here the principles of the law and to add my humble opinion on this thorny subject. I will limit my discussion primarily to restrictions on rights and freedoms imposed on Quebecers by the law.

Is it possible to educate our children about sexuality without sexualizing them?

09/23/18

Hello everyone,

I wish to introduce myself as a simple Quebec citizen who cares about the protection of our children.   After having done some research relating to Quebec’s new sex education program, I decided to take political action corresponding to my personal beliefs about the hidden nature of this program - which, under the guise of sex education (which is essential in my opinion), is masking an objective of early childhood sexualization.

Happy Labour Day

Happy Labour Day! In Quebec, when we celebrate Labour Day, you don't celebrate work. The media pushes microphones under the noses of trade union leaders so that they can boast the merits of trade unionism or demand an increase in the minimum wage.

A GLOBAL AND SENSIBLE APPROACH FOR QUÉBEC TO REDUCE GHGs

A GLOBAL AND SENSIBLE APPROACH FOR QUÉBEC TO REDUCE GHGs

The governments of Canada and Quebec have, in recent years, adopted several measures aimed at limiting emissions of greenhouse gas (GHG) in the hope of contributing to reducing global warming. Unfortunately, these measures will not achieve their goal and will cost Canadians dearly. In this document, the Conservative Party of Québec, concerned about sustainable economic development that considers real environmental constraints, proposes in this document an alternative that would work better at a lower cost.
